Related Posts Using The Post Cards element
For ALL custom post types, there is the Post Cards Element when using Avada Layouts. This is the preferred method for displaying related posts. This incredibly versatile element allows you to display any of your related items within the post type, with any registered taxonomy.
When adding the Element to a Content Layout Section, you choose Related under the Content Source option. Then, by choosing the corresponding Taxonomy, you can display the related posts through your layout. The list will depend on the plugins installed and your custom post types, but can include Post Categories, Post Tags, Product Type, Product Categories, Product Tags, Product Shipping Classes, Event Categories, Portfolio Skills, Portfolio Tags, and FAQ Categories. You then have control over how many items to display, how they are ordered, and many other display options. So, with this method, you can easily display any related post type in your layouts.
