1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing Avada! We value each customer and are committed to providing the highest level of support. We stand behind our products, care about our users, and want to help you get the most out of Avada for your WordPress website. Within our support guidelines, we will do our utmost to provide efficient and world-class assistance every step of the way.

2. What Do You Get With Your Purchase of Avada?

  • A purchase code that verifies that you own a legitimate copy of the theme and receive free theme updates once it is registered. This purchase code is a unique, alphanumeric identifier valid for registering on a single top-level domain as per Envato’s licensing terms and conditions.
  • The option to register a single staging/dev/local site per top-level domain based on these predefined patterns.

  • Six (6) months of free support is included with your purchase of Avada on Themeforest. The valid support period starts from the date and time of purchase. Support can be renewed/extended if additional support is required down the line.
  • Two (2) ZIP files comprise (A) “All files & documentation” – and (B) “Installable WordPress files only.”

  • You can register a My Avada account to access Avada support, feature requests, bug reports, and Avada license management.

  • Free regular updates for Avada for the lifetime of your license. Software updates are extensive, thoroughly tested, and consistent, as shown in the detailed Avada changelog.
  • Avada maintenance patches. The built-in Avada Patcher tool is seamless and allows our development team to push improvements and fixes to all Avada installations without a full update.
  • Six (6) premium plugins are bundled with Avada: Avada Custom Branding, Slider Revolution, LayerSlider, ACF Pro, Convert Plus, and FileBird Pro.
  • Avada works seamlessly in design and is integrated with popular plugins such as WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, The Events Calendar, bbPress, HubSpot, and more.

  • Access to a dedicated Avada Help Center with 550+ searchable documentation help files, 300+ YouTube video tutorials, and a presales Live Chat.
  • Avada Live Visual Builder – A front-end drag-and-drop editor that lets you create and modify content in real time. You can drag and drop elements, adjust styling, and instantly see your changes without switching between the back-end and front-end.

  • Avada Layout Builder – Design custom layouts for specific content types or sections of your website. You can override default page layouts and create unique templates for blog posts, portfolios, archives, and more—without touching code.

  • Avada Header Builder – Allows you to craft unique, custom website headers. You can control the structure, design, and behavior (like sticky, transparent headers, etc.), then apply your custom headers globally or assign them to specific pages only.

  • Avada Footer Builder – Like the Header Builder, however, specifically for website footers. You can design global or page-specific footers using a drag-and-drop interface, making it easy to incorporate widgets, copyright details, social icons, and more.

It helps ensure your online store matches your brand while offering flexibility for product layouts.

  • Avada Form Builder – A dedicated form-building interface for creating contact forms, multistep forms, newsletter sign-ups, surveys, and more. You can customize all form fields, styling, and behaviors (such as notifications, submissions, control over form submission data, and more) to suit your needs.

  • Avada Setup Wizard – A step-by-step process that walks you through building an Avada website by importing a pre-built website or starting from scratch, installing required plugins, adding pre-built content, and configuring initial settings. This wizard is designed to simplify the onboarding process for new Avada installations.

  • Avada Performance Wizard – This innovative tool guides you through optimizing Avada for speed and efficiency. It includes a step-by-step guide to help you deactivate unnecessary features, fine-tune scripts, and configure settings (like file compression) to achieve better site performance.

  • Avada Elements – These Elements (sometimes referred to as Avada Design Elements or Avada Builder Elements) are the building blocks for creating layouts and content in a visual, drag-and-drop environment—no coding is required. Each Element includes a wide range of customizable settings (e.g., styling, spacing, alignment, animations, etc.) and can be combined in countless ways to achieve unique designs. There are 120 Elements to choose from, divided into three main categories: Design, Layouts, and Forms, and each is created to help you build sophisticated, mobile-responsive pages quickly.

  • Avada Websites – You can access 110 pre-built websites that can be imported with a few clicks. This gives you a headstart in the website-building process, and every aspect of the website content is 100% customizable.

  • Avada Studio – You can access a wide range of engaging creative content that can be imported with a few clicks. Studio items can be added to any Avada website and are 100% customizable.

  • Access to a professional world-class support team. Our team is here for you whether you need technical assistance with Avada or merely want guidance on achieving a particular style or design with your Avada website. Our support team is passionate about building long-term relationships with Avada customers.

3. Avada Grandfathered Support

Avada Grandfathered Support refers to lifetime support provided to customers who purchased Avada before 1 September 2015. These early adopters will continue to receive support without needing to renew or extend it, unlike newer customers who must purchase support extensions after the initial six months. This special status means your support will not expire and allows customers to access Avada’s support ticket system anytime.

4. Avada Support Scope

  • Major and minor maintenance updates to ensure that Avada works as described and is protected against major security concerns. Avada has a comprehensive history of regular and consistent updates as detailed in the Avada changelog.
  • Avada maintenance patches to be applied (individually or in bulk) without a full theme update.
  • Guaranteed availability to provide hands-on support for Avada. Our team is located globally, spanning different timezones, and utilizes the HelpScout secure email-based ticketing system.
  • Assistance and guidance with Avada’s built-in features, functionality, and tools.
  • Technical guidance with Avada’s premium bundled plugins.
  • Assistance with reported bugs and technical issues related to Avada.

5. Avada Support Exclusions

  • Customization of features and functionality, including CSS, that extend beyond Avada’s functionality and the scope of general support. If customization is required, we will refer you to our customization partner Codeable.
  • The installation of Avada, WordPress, or third-party plugins.
  • Your website’s hosting, web server environment, or external software.

6. The Avada Support Team Is Unable To

  • Answer more than two support queries per support ticket. If you have more queries, please open a new ticket for each query. This will help us avoid confusion and miscommunication and allow our support team to be more efficient.
  • Provide their IP Address to access your website under any circumstances.
  • Edit their host file to gain access to your installation. You will need to allow access without modifications.
  • Provide personal information, such as full names, locations, etc.
  • Schedule a specific time to provide support or use screen-sharing applications to communicate with customers or their technical teams.
  • Provide any guarantees when providing support.
  • Avada takes no responsibility for, and will not be liable for, the website being temporarily unavailable due to technical issues beyond our control.
  • Sign non-disclosure agreements to gain access to your website or web server.

7. Avada Support Schedule & Fair-Use

We strive to monitor and respond to support tickets as promptly as possible; however, continuous coverage is not always feasible due to varying time zones. Our dedicated support team of over 20 professionals works diligently throughout the day to address inquiries. Response times may vary, typically ranging up to 24 hours from Monday to Friday and up to 48 hours on weekends. However, we aim to provide assistance as quickly as possible.

Given our extensive user base and the continued growth of our support department, we kindly ask for adherence to fair-use guidelines to ensure that every customer receives the best possible support experience. We request that each ticket contain no more than two queries and that customers limit the number of submitted tickets to only those that are necessary.

In rare instances where support requests significantly exceed reasonable expectations, our support manager may reach out to discuss appropriate solutions. Repeated violations or abuse of the support system may result in suspending support privileges. For further details, please refer to Envato’s support policy fair-use clause.
