FAQ Example
Below is a live example that can be added anywhere within the content and layouts of your Avada website.
If you receive an error from your child theme related to an undefined method, please check your custom template and replace:
<?php Avada()->layout->add_style( 'content_style' ); ?>
With the new code of:
style="<?php esc_attr_e( apply_filters( 'awb_content_tag_style', '' ) ); ?>"
After updating, ensure you have cleared your browser cache and any plugin cache you have running. If using critical CSS, also regenerate the critical CSS.
Go to Global Options > Advanced – Features and ensure that Legacy Widget Areas is set to On.
Post Avada v7.7, Emails are managed via the notification tab in the Avada form options, Screenshot here. You can add a new notification which can send emails to your desired ID along with automated replies
This can happen if you are updating from an older version and there is an incompatibility between Avada Core / Avada Builder and theme version itself, the solution is to simply Disable and Delete both Avada Core and Avada Builder plugin(s) manually and then reinstall the latest versions again from the Avada Dashboard.
This can happen when the site you have has been reset a few times or if the code was being used in a domain which has been deleted before unregistering the purchase code. For domains that no longer exist or are no longer using Avada, you can simply unregister the code via your support account area in the registration(relevant screenshot here).
If the issue is being faced on the same site then you will need to reach out to support.

No. The Extended License is still limited to a single end product. For more information, please the Extended License terms.
You do not need to match the order of your listed purchases with a site. You can add the purchase code in any order. All we need to ensure is that the same purchase code is not used more than once (as the same code will not work in more than one site)
Log into your support account, and navigate to the purchase codes tab to see the details of your licenses and the domains registered against them, however if you don’t see any license or domains listed there, you have the freedom to assign any of your purchase code to any domain from the scratch, this will not cause any issues with your site at all.
We have actually made a QnA section that provides answer to all your queries above which you can check out here => https://bit.ly/31L0Ebb
Yes, you can, at an Avada support level. To clarify, whoever purchases the theme license via Themeforest, is the rightful owner of the license. According to Envato, the ownership of a license can’t be transferred between individuals or marketplace accounts. At an Avada support level, the following scenarios are possible:
- If you have not registered the purchase code within your support Dashboard, you can request that your customer registers a support account using the provided license code, and by following these instructions.
- If you have already registered a purchase code within your support account and would like to pass it on to your client so that they can register their own support account, you can deregister the purchase code from within your support Dashboard.
In short, nothing will happen. We do, however, encourage you to make sure that you keep WordPress, Avada, and your plugins updated at all times. When you decide to update please be sure to follow these detailedinstructions.
Request that they register a support account, using the provided license code and by following these instructions.
In terms of bulk discounts, individual discounts, charitable discounts, etc., Envato does not give us the ability to discount individual purchases or provide coupons. To be alerted as to when we have our next sale event, please do sign up for our newsletter.
Envato’s licensing terms and conditions stipulate that a regular license is required per domain install of the theme. You can purchase the required Avada licenses on Themeforest.
You can set up one Staging site for each Avada license that you own.
No, it does not require an additional license. Provided that you follow our recommendations for Staging site setups, our system will recognize it.
Yes, per license, you can use one dedicated staging site. If the domain you are working on matches one of the patterns below, our system will automatically register it as a staging site. Domains that match none of these patterns currently won’t qualify as staging sites.

This will actually depend on the use case. Licenses in general, apply to the end product you use them for. Usually, this end product will be a website with a specific topic. If you use sub-domains where the topic of the site is not identical or the general design is different, then these sub-domains represent own end products, thus you will need one license per sub-domain.
Only in cases where the topic and general design of your sub-domains match the purpose of your main site, it is fine to go with one license. In the latter case, you can contact us, and after review, we can enable your license for usage with sub-domains.
Examples
Multiple sub-domains as multiple end products
Suppose you do a website where you present different branches of your business in different cities or countries. Thus, you create two different sub-domains: brancha.my-business.com and branchb.my-business.com. If the purpose of each of the sub-domain sites is a bit different or the general design is different, you have created different end products. So in this case you need one license per sub-domain.
Suppose you do a website for a retailer of apples and a retailer of pears, both hosted on your main domain. Thus, you create two different sub-domains: apple-retailer.my-grocery-hosting.com and pear-retailer.my-grocery-hosting.com. Your end products here clearly are the websites for each of the merchants, so in this case you need one license per sub-domain.
Multiple sub-domains in one end product
Suppose you do a website where you present different departments of the same local company. Thus, you create two different sub-domains: sales.my-business.com and customercare.my-business.com. If the departments are presented in a way that uses the same general design as your main site, they count towards a single end product. So in this case you don’t need extra licenses per sub-domain.
Suppose you do a website for a grocery store and among other goods, you sell apples and pears. To show your supplies, you create two different sub-domains: apples.my-grocery-store.com and pears.my-grocery-store.com. Your end product clearly is the website for the grocery store, so you only need one license.
In case the domain of your website needs to change, this will be possible. Transferring a license to a different domain permanently (when the license owner changes or the website using the license is abandoned), will work too. However, to ensure that the website is actively registered, please follow these steps:
Before you switch domains, first deregister the purchase code inside of the Avada Dashboard.
After the domain has been switched, reregister the purchase code inside of the Avada Dashboard.
Log into your support account, and navigate to the purchase codes tab.
From Avada 7.3 and beyond, a token key is no longer required and will not work for registration purposes. For any Avada website older than version 7.3, the token key used for registration will continue to work until the website is updated to Avada 7.3 or beyond.
If you have updated to Avada 7.3 and have not yet re-registered your Avada website with a purchase code as explained in this help file, the Envato token key will only continue to be valid for an additional ten (10) days.
Once the ten (10) days are concluded, the Envato token key will be rendered invalid. This will not cause your site to break or to stop functioning normally. However, you will be required to register the website with a purchase code.

In short, 1 license = 1 domain.

If you have issues importing Avada prebuilt sites (demos) despite the server status not showing anything in red, it maybe due to some other server specific issues, meanwhile however you can always use our Alternate Prebuilt Site Import Method, this makes sure that your demo is imported without any issues.
