Live Builder AI – All Available Actions

Last Update: October 14, 2026

The Live Builder AI can build, edit, organize, and explain your Avada pages directly in the builder. Changes appear immediately in the preview and remain unsaved until you click Save or ask the AI to save them.

Below is a list of all available AI actions in the Live Builder. So depending on what your prompt is, the AI chooses which of these actions to use.

Always available (41 actions)

These actions can be used directly in the Live Builder to create content, modify existing elements, manage page structure, and work with site settings.

Build the page

  • Add a section: builds a new container with columns and elements.
  • Add content to an existing section: puts an element, column, or row before, after, or inside something already on the page.

  • Paste HTML: turns copied HTML into real builder elements.
  • Insert a library item: places a saved section, column, or element from the Library.
  • Get design examples: pulls designer-made sections from Avada Studio and prebuilt websites as a starting point.

Edit what’s on the page

  • Edit an element: changes its settings and/or visible text.
  • Edit several elements at once: applies a batch of edits as one Undo step.
  • Find & replace: changes text across the whole page.
  • Duplicate: copies an element, column, container, or row, with support for multiple copies.
  • Move: moves an item to a new position, like dragging it in the builder.
  • Rename: sets the internal admin label shown in the builder without changing visible content.
  • Delete: removes an element, column, container, or row, including nested content.
  • Delete several at once: removes multiple selected items in one action.

Undo, redo, and save

  • Undo: reverses the last live-builder change, like Ctrl+Z.
  • Redo: reapplies the last undone change, like Ctrl+Shift+Z.
  • Save page: saves the current page by clicking Save.

Read the page and the site

  • Read the page layout: lists everything on the page, including unsaved changes.
  • Read an element’s settings: shows the values an element currently uses so new content can match it.
  • List available elements: shows which elements are enabled on this site.
  • Look up an element’s settings reference: shows the full settings reference for an element.
  • Read the color palette: reads the site’s global colors.
  • Read typography: reads the site’s global fonts, sizes, and weights.
  • List icons: searches the available icons.

Images and media

  • Search the Media Library: reuses images and videos already on the site.
  • Find a stock image: searches Pixabay for free photos, illustrations, and vector art.
  • Import an image from a URL: saves a local copy in the Media Library.
  • Generate an AI image: creates a new image in the Media Library, with a low-cost placeholder mode for empty image slots.
  • Generate vector logos: you can generate a vector logo with aspect ratio and variations available.

Related content: cards, forms, menus, and popups

  • List post types: finds posts, pages, products, portfolios, and other content types for Post Cards.
  • List Post Card layouts: finds reusable card designs.

Page Options: this page only

  • Read Page Options: reads fields such as custom CSS, SEO settings, and sliders.
  • Set a Page Option: changes a setting for this page; Undo does not cover the change.
  • Reset a Page Option to its default.

Global Options: the whole site

  • Search Global Options: finds settings by name, such as button color or sticky header.
  • Read Global Options: reads the current global settings.
  • Set a Global Option: changes a site-wide setting only when explicitly requested.
  • Reset a Global Option to its default.

Help

  • Search the documentation: provides how-to guidance and lists setup steps that must be completed outside the page.

Read-only resources (9 actions)

These lookups never change the page or the site. The related Resources option must be enabled in the chat box before the AI can use them.

  • Search FAQs (FAQs): searches Avada’s frequently asked questions.
  • Check the changelog (Changelog): checks the latest version, release changes, and when features were added or fixed.
  • List all elements (Elements): shows the complete Avada element catalogue, not only enabled elements.
  • Find element usage (Elements): shows which prebuilt websites and pages use an element.
  • List prebuilt websites (Prebuilts): lists available prebuilt websites and what they include.
  • Get prebuilt website details (Prebuilts): shows the full import contents of a prebuilt website.

Changes made by the AI appear immediately in the builder. Click Save when you are ready to keep them.
