We have released Avada 7.16, delivering a huge array of exciting new features, enhancements, improvements, fixing two security issues and additional security enhancements:

  • SECURITY: FIXED possible Contributor+ level XSS vulnerability via the HTML tag options of the Title elements.

  • SECURITY: FIXED broken access control in the System Status multisite global options copying, where a failing capability and nonce check did not stop execution.
  • SECURITY: Updated the Swiper library to version 12.1.4, which addresses a reported vulnerability in the library.
  • SECURITY: Added further in-depth security mechanisms to several areas of Avada.

This is disclosed in our Changelog and our Important Update Info help file.

Our responsibility is to quickly take care of them and work to get our customers notified and prepared. This is why we recommend keeping your website and plugins up-to-date and maintained at all times.
