How to Install The HubSpot Plugin in WordPress
You can add the plugin directly from your WordPress installation by following the instructions below, or download the plugin as a .zip file and upload it to your website.
Please note: If you have a WordPress multisite network setup, you’ll need to activate the plugin for each site separately.
Create Your FREE HubSpot Account
Once installed, you will see HubSpot appear in the WordPress Dashboard sidebar. The HubSpot welcome page will require you to connect to an existing account or register a new free account.
If you register a new account with the HubSpot CRM and successfully set it up, you can now use forms and live chat on your Avada website. In addition, you will be able to view traffic analytics and manage your contacts in the free HubSpot CRM.
How To Setup HubSpot Live Chat With Avada
Once you have installed the HubSpot plugin and connected your account, you are ready to configure your HubSpot account for live chat.
The first thing to do is to edit and configure your default Conversations Inbox. A conversation inbox streamlines and centralizes communication with your contacts. You can connect team emails and-or chat channels to the inbox and view, reply to, and manage all conversations from each channel in one place:
Step 1: Click on HubSpot > Live Chat in the WordPress dashboard or the Live Editor. (This opens your HubSpot account in a new tab on the Chatflows page.)
Step 2: In the top right corner, click on Create Chatflow.
Step 3: Select if you want to add the Chatflow to a Website or Facebook Messenger.
Step 4: If this is your first Chatflow for the account, a pop-up will appear, asking you to Add Chat to your website.
Step 5: This takes you to the customization wizard, where you can configure your chat inbox. You can set things like the color and heading of your chat box, the users, its availability, and several other options.
Step 6: Once you have set your Availability options, you get a preview of the Chatbox, and you can then click Publish. You get a pop-up letting you know the Chatflow is published.

How To Integrate HubSpot With Avada Forms
Another great free option with the HubSpot plugin is the ability to create a hosted form using the provided HubSpot features or an external option like the Avada Forms to collect submissions and contacts from the website.
To connect Avada Forms to your HubSpot account:
Step 1: Click on Avada > Options > Global Options > Forms > HubSpot in the WordPress Dashboard or the Live Editor.
Step 2: Select a method to connect to your HubSpot account (OAuth or API Key).
The HubSpot API (OAuth or API Key) option connects to your HubSpot account. OAuth is our recommended option.
If you choose OAuth, a “Connect with HubSpot” button will appear.
If you have already enabled the HubSpot plugin, clicking the connect button will take you to the HubSpot connection confirmation page.
If you choose API Key instead, you will be required to enter your HubSpot API Key in the field provided. Check this help file about how to access your HubSpot API key.
Please note: Starting November 30, 2022, HubSpot API keys will no longer be able to be used as an authentication method to access HubSpot APIs. In addition, starting July 15, 2022, accounts without a HubSpot API key already generated will no longer be able to create one.
Instead, you’ll need to use a private app access token or OAuth to authenticate API calls. Learn more about this change and how to migrate an API key integration to use a private app instead.
Once the Avada Forms is connected to your HubSpot account, remember to save the changes.
