The Avada Post Slider Element is a versatile and visually appealing way to display your blog content dynamically within your Avada-powered website. This article will provide a basic overview of how this Avada Element works and the styling options that are available.

Overview

Introduction to Avada Post Slider Element

The Avada Post Slider is part of a collection of Avada Design Elements used to showcase WordPress blog posts. Other Elements in this category include the Avada Post Cards Element, the Avada Blog Element, and the Avada Recent Posts Element.

For privacy reasons YouTube needs your permission to be loaded.

Unlike static displays, the Post Slider offers a dynamic, slider-based presentation of your blog posts.

Avada Post Slider Layout Options

The Avada Post Slider comes with three predefined layout options:

1: Posts with Title

This is the default layout style. It displays a simple, visually attractive slider with blog post titles overlaid on the images. The layout is responsive and adapts well to various screen sizes. Still, it’s important to note that it uses an H2 heading, so your global H2 settings will influence the appearance.

2: Posts with Title and Excerpt

This option enhances the slider by displaying titles and excerpts from your blog posts. By default, excerpts are set to 35 words. Still, you can adjust this to a shorter length, such as 15-16 words, for better readability and visual balance. This option is optimal for larger columns due to space considerations and the influence of heading sizes.

3: Attachment Layout (Images Attached to Posts)

The attachment layout is unique, as it displays images specifically attached to a post or page via the WordPress editor. The slider dynamically adjusts its size to match the aspect ratio of the images. Consistently sized images are recommended for the best results. Additionally, images can be attached directly via the Avada Builder Element settings, provided they are uploaded to the media library. An optional lightbox setting allows users to view these images more interactively.

Choosing Categories and Slides

Select specific blog categories to control which posts appear in the slider. By default, the slider includes all categories, but targeted selection provides greater control. Additionally, you can specify the number of slides you wish to display—setting this to one creates a static but visually appealing single-post highlight.

Avada Post Slider Styling Options

Beyond basic settings, the Avada Post Slider Element includes further customization options:

  • Margins: – Adjust bottom margins to fine-tune spacing, such as setting a 30px margin, if required.
  • Visibility: – Control element visibility across various screen sizes to optimize responsiveness.
  • CSS: – Use CSS class and ID fields to add custom styling for further personalization.

Summary

The Avada Post Slider Element provides a dynamic, engaging way to feature blog posts prominently on your website. Although it’s less commonly used than other Avada Builder Elements, its versatility and visual appeal make it an excellent choice for presenting blog content creatively.
