Alert Element
Last Update: September 10, 2025
The Avada Alert Element offers four preset and one custom Alert Box for your website. These are useful in a wide range of situations. There are five types of alerts: General Alert, Error Alert, Success Alert, Notice Alert, and Custom Alert. There is a range of settings available, some of which only apply to the Custom Alert, as the first four are preset to specific situations and uses. The Custom Alert, however, is fully customizable.
Watch the video below for a visual overview of the Element, view the Avada Alert Element page, and read on to see the complete list of options.
How To Use The Alert Element
The Avada Alert Element is easy to add anywhere in your content. Just add the Elements to any column. The first option allows you to select from several preset Alert boxes, or you can choose Custom if you prefer to style it yourself. Note that with any Alert Type other than Custom, the first option you will see is Content Alignment.
If, on the other hand, you choose Custom, you have five new options to customize the colors and styling of the alert. Just go through the options and configure the Alert to display how you wish. By default, Avada Alert Boxes are dismissible (the user can close them); however, there is an option to make them permanent if desired.
Once you have chosen your options, add your content in the Alert Content field. This is the text that shows in the Alert box. If you wish to make further customization, there are options for Element Visibility, as well as fields for a CSS Class and a CSS ID. There is also an animation tab, if you wish to customize how the alert loads on the page. Read below for a detailed description of all element options.
Element Options
Note: The Default setting will use the global settings assigned for this element at Options > Avada Builder Elements > Alert. Also, please note that the displayed option screens below show ALL the available options for the element. If you have Avada’s Option Network Dependencies turned on, you will only see options relevant to your selections, and so the options screen may look somewhat different.
