The evolution of Avada, into a fully-fledged Website Builder, over the years is nothing short of amazing. We launched Avada in August 2012 with the intent of both simplifying and extending the basic functionality that WordPress offered at that time. What has been phenomenal to witness is that average end-users have made the Avada platform their go-to website design and building toolkit over the last 8+ years.
There have been many milestones and stunning achievements that we as a team have surpassed over the years. And this all in thanks to our more than 882,780 strong community. Likewise, the Avada community has helped shape the direction over the years by providing valuable feedback via feature requests.
Avada 6.0, released in August, 2019 marked a significant step up in Avada’s evolutionary development; The release of the live, front end visual editing experience. The subsequent releases (6.1, 6.2, 7.0, 7.1, 7.2) further introduced highly flexible and extensive Website Builder technologies culminating in the Avada Website Builder that allows you to design, build, and launch totally bespoke header, footer, content, and WooCommerce layouts for any Avada powered website.
