Avada 7.12
Over the past few weeks, we’ve entirely focused on delivering a feature-rich update designed to elevate the Avada experience you know and love. Avada 7.12 (coming very soon) is a release packed with fresh design possibilities, enhanced flexibility, and powerful visual tools to help you create with even more precision and flair.

Here are some of the exciting new features we’ve added:
Supercharged Post Cards
We’ve expanded the Avada Post Cards and Avada Post Card Archives Elements significantly. You can now use multiple alternate Post Card designs, control Column spans, and set custom ordering of the Post Cards — all from within a single Element. Plus, we’re introducing three brand-new Layout styles, including stacked cards, coverflow scrolling, and marquee effects, with an array of advanced options to fine-tune the look and behavior.
New Layout Styles For Image Carousels
The Avada Image Carousel Element gets a major style boost with six new Layout styles, including slick effects like coverflow and marquee, plus more advanced customization controls to help your visuals shine. Additionally, half-columns can now be displayed, and image slides can be centered, allowing for new creative designs.
New Title Element Animations
The Avada Title Element now supports seven new scroll reveal effects with advanced control options — perfect for adding subtle or bold motion and engagement to your content. A new highlight marker pen effect can also help you emphasize important parts of your headings.
Smarter WooCommerce Features
No more manual refreshes — the WooCommerce cart automatically updates subtotals when customers change product quantities, making for a smoother, more intuitive shopping experience. A new gallery-style image hover effect and an updated cart spinner on single product cards add even more polish to your Avada and WooCommerce-powered sites.
Avada 8 Progress Update

While we have been focused on delivering an exciting Avada 7.12 release, we kept our efforts on Avada 8 at the same steady pace. Following on from the March Roadmap post here’s a quick look at what’s happening:
Refactoring
We continued with the refactoring to allow for custom class styles and states. While sandbox mode isn’t quite ready yet, we’re steadily progressing toward it.
CSS Grid Support
We’ve started work on CSS Grid support, which will offer simple and advanced controls depending on your design preferences and needs.
Option Type Improvements
Improvements to various option types are also underway. For example, you’ll soon be able to add multiple box shadows and background layers, giving you more control and creative freedom.
