How to Use the Title Element Title Types
Last Update: April 28, 2025
In the Title Element, apart from the standard Text Title, there are four other title types – Marquee, Rotating, Highlight & Scroll Reveal. With these, you can create a wide variety of titles. For a full rundown on all four of these special title types, read on or watch the video below for a visual overview.
Text Title
The default Title Type, is the Text Title, and is possibly the most common Element in use in Avada. There is full control over the typography, and has many effects possible with Text Shadow, Text Stroke, and Gradient Font Color options. See the How To Use The Avada Title Element video, for a full rundown of what the Element can do with this default title type.

Marquee Title
As you can see from the example below, a Marqueee Title gives a scrolling text effect. The Marquee HTML tag is deprecated these days, but was very popular in the nineties. A resurgance of interest in this retro look has led us to adding it to the Title Element. You have full control over the direction and speed of the text, as well as full typography control. This can be a useful effect when done well.

Rotating Title
With a Rotating Title, there is a Before text, and After text, and any nmber of Rotation text sets. The example below only has one set of rotation text. There are nine rotation effects, as well as styling options for the size and color of the rotation text. Note that the alignment of the title will also affect whether the before and after sets are static or moving with the rotating text, as shown below.

Highlight Title
The Highlight title type is similar to the Roating title, in that is also has a Before text and an After text, but this title type only has the possibility of one Highlighted text. There are ten Highlight Effects, as well as options for the shape width and color, and the highlighted text size and color.

Scroll Reveal Title
The Scroll Reveal Title type, as the name suggests, allows you to reveal the title as the user scrolls, with eight possible Scroll Reveal Effects. You can animate the effect both in down and up directions, as well as control the duration, delay and stagger of the effect.
